Sculpted from a gnarly chunk of Red Cedar, rescued from an old growth tree that fell in a storm. It's Australia's most celebrated wood, for good reason. However that's normally due to it's straight and easy carve grain, where as I like the weird chunks that no carpenter would touch, as too tricky to tame. But then that's where you discover the psychedelic patterns in the grain - and the wood becomes the focus rather than the shape.
